The district level sports competitions for the Chief Minister’s Cup for the differently abled were held at the Virudhunagar District Sports Stadium on 19.09.2024. More than 150 differently-abled students participated in the competitions held at the Virudhunagar District Sports Development Authority. Our school 30 students participate in this competition
In this 100 meter running competition in district level women’s category J. Kanimozhi stood first, B.David Samraj in men’s category with cerebral palsy in shot put and J.Amala in women’s category stood first in the district. All of them have been selected for the state level sports competition.
Also S. Gurunithish second place in men with intellectual disability category in shot put competition, M.Sivagurunathan won the second place in the men’s category with cerebral palsy and the men’s team and the women’s team won the second place in the district volleyball competition.
E. Muniyasamy won the third place in men’s category in the 100 meter running competition, In the shot put competition, N.Nandakumar with cerebral palsy in the men’s category and N.Gnanajyothi in the women’s category with intellectual disabilities have also won the third place.
They won a total of 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 3 third prizes.
