At Ritham Charitable Trust, we are committed to building an inclusive future where every child and adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities has access to quality education, healthcare, rehabilitation, vocational opportunities, and a life of dignity. To achieve this vision, we aim to:
1. Free Special Education and Free Transport
- Continue providing free special education, transport, therapy, and individualized support for children from economically disadvantaged families.
2. Expand Transportation Services
- Purchase an additional school van to transport more students from remote rural villages.
- Provide a staff van to support teachers, therapists, and community outreach activities.
3. Free Essential Medicines
- Provide free anti-epileptic and other essential medicines to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
4. Nutrition Programme
- Provide free nutritious breakfast and midday meals for all students.
- Continue the Milk and Millets Programme to improve nutrition, health, and learning outcomes.
5. School Uniforms & Sports Dress
- Provide free school uniforms and sports dress to every student, promoting equality, confidence, and participation.
6. Vocational Training & Employment
- Expand innovative vocational training based on students’ interests and abilities.
- Provide stipends for adult vocational trainees to encourage skill development and participation.
- Strengthen job placement training, career guidance, and partnerships with employers to increase employment opportunities.

7. Free Residential Rehabilitation Centre
- Establish a free residential school and rehabilitation centre for children with severe intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, and multiple disabilities, offering education, therapy, healthcare, nutrition, and 24-hour care.
8. Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR)
- Expand Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) services for children and adults with severe and profound disabilities who are unable to attend school, ensuring they receive therapy, education, caregiver support, and home-based rehabilitation.
9. Playground
- Develop a safe, accessible, and inclusive playground that promotes physical fitness, sensory development, recreation, and participation in sports.
10. Teaching-Learning Materials & Therapy Equipment
- Strengthen classrooms and therapy units by providing modern Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs), assistive devices, sensory integration equipment, physiotherapy equipment, speech therapy resources, and educational technology.
11. Monitoring, Evaluation & Digital Data Systems
- Develop a robust digital data management system for beneficiary registration, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), therapy progress, monitoring, evaluation, impact measurement, and reporting to improve service quality and accountability.
12. Separate Campus for Comprehensive Services
- Acquire separate land to establish an integrated campus with classrooms, therapy units, vocational training facilities, residential care, sports infrastructure, playgrounds, and community service centres.
13. Staff Uniforms
- Provide uniforms for all teaching and support staff to promote professionalism and unity.
14. Staff Capacity Development
- Invest in continuous training, professional development, and leadership programmes to enhance the skills and knowledge of teachers, therapists, and support staff.
15. Partnerships & Networks
- Build strong collaborations with government departments, hospitals, universities, NGOs, CSR partners, international donors, and disability networks to enhance service quality, advocacy, innovation, and sustainability.
