Muniyasamy’s life took an unexpected turn when he was forced to discontinue his education after studying up to Class 9 in a Government Higher Secondary School. Due to his intellectual disability and the lack of specialized educational support, he struggled to keep pace with regular classroom learning. Believing there was no future in education for him, his family asked him to stay home and graze goats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything changed when they learned about Ritham Special School<\/strong>. Hoping for a better future, they enrolled Muniyasamy at the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Ritham, Muniyasamy received individualized education, life skills training, and continuous support from dedicated special educators. With patience, encouragement, and structured teaching, he regained confidence and developed the skills needed to continue his education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of his greatest achievements was successfully completing the Tamil Nadu Class 10 (SSLC) Public Examination<\/strong>, proving that every child can learn when given the right opportunity and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After completing SSLC, Muniyasamy joined Ritham’s one-year vocational training program<\/strong>, where he learned workplace skills such as supermarket operations, housekeeping, customer service, and food service in hospitals and restaurants. The program also helped him build communication skills, discipline, independence, and workplace confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Muniyasamy is proudly employed at Novotel Hotel, Chennai<\/strong>, earning a monthly salary of \u20b918,000<\/strong>. He has transformed from a young man who once believed his education had ended into an independent employee with a stable income and a promising future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His journey demonstrates the life-changing impact of inclusive education, vocational training, and the generous support of donors. Because of their contributions, Muniyasamy now has dignity, confidence, financial independence, and hope for a brighter future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After joining Ritham Special School, Hariprasath received special education, vocational training, and life skills support that improved his confidence, independence, and work readiness. He developed practical workplace skills through structured training and was selected for employment at Novotel Hotel, Chennai. Today, Hariprasath is earning an income, contributing to his family, and living with greater confidence and dignity.
